Due to unforeseen circumstances facing the ministry of ‘His Name is Flowing Oil’, they feel they need to suspend their future meetings for a season as they seek the Lord for truth, wisdom and direction. Thus, we are sad to announce that their meetings with Harbor Light scheduled for February 21st – 23rd, have now been CANCELLED!
In light of these challenging circumstances and because we as a church have been Hosts to this ministry, we strongly feel we still need to have a gathering this coming Friday, February 21st at 7:00PM, to establish our unwavering faith in God! We also know there will still be people who have planned to come who may not know or hear of this development. This will be a significant Night of Worship and Healing as we wait and call upon the Lord together with all who will come. All are welcome to attend.
We encourage you to visit their website for updates and statements they will provide: https://hisnameisflowingoil.org
Following is a Letter to the congregation of Harbor Light which we openly share with you:
February 14, 2020
Dear Harbor Light Family and Friends,
This important note is to inform you that, in light of a very recent and serious allegation in an article published by an atheist website, the ministry of His Name is Flowing Oil is suspending all of their immediate future meetings. Thus, we regret that they are having to now CANCEL their meetings with us that were scheduled for next weekend, February 21st – 23rd.
Christina and I (Grady) spent considerable time on the phone this morning with evangelist Johnny Taylor and his wife, Leslie. We, along with Pastors Chip and Sandy and many of you, have established a close friendship with them and continue to believe they are people of utmost integrity with a genuine anointing, passion and love for God and His people. They are heartbroken and deeply grieved by some of the circumstances surrounding this accusation and only desire that all things in their ministry be completely truthful and in the light. They will soon be issuing a public statement to address these issues related to their ministry as they prayerfully process this. Please keep them in your prayers.
Because of the implications and ramifications of this development, and because we as a church, Harbor Light, have been Hosts to this ministry, we strongly feel we still need to have a gathering this coming Friday night, February 21st at 7:00pm, to establish our unwavering faith in God! We also know there will still be people who have planned to come who may not know or hear of this development. This will be a significant Night of Worship and Healing as we wait and call upon the Lord together with all who will come. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
We will endeavor to keep you informed as much as we can with any further information we receive. We encourage you to visit their website for updates and statements they will provide: https://hisnameisflowingoil.org/
Thank you for your understanding, continual prayer and contending for the advancement of the kingdom of God.
